Introducing myself:
Most people spend 20 years at a company and look toward retirement, I’m looking toward a reboot. My two decades as an IT Tech Analyst at Les Schwab taught me how to keep complex, mission-critical systems running in the real world. Now, at 56, I’m back in the classroom at COCC to master the modern code behind those systems. I’m not just finishing a degree in Computer Information Systems; I’m bridging twenty years of 'boots-on-the-ground' experience with the next generation of enterprise technology.
My greatest inspiration is my wife, Leslie. Beyond being my partner in life, she is my fellow explorer. Whether we are trekking through the wilderness on a rockhounding expedition, setting up camp under the stars, or chasing the Aurora Borealis on the Oregon Coast, every mile is better with her by my side. We cherish time with our grandkids, and planning our next adventure.
